Mini-Lesson 3

Lovingkindness to Others

The duty of the believer is to show lovingkindness to others.  Jesus knocks at our personal door, inviting us to come from behind the door and to come in the Door, for He is the Door.

How do we operate behind the door?

1. When we are behind the door we operate in ourselves and for ourselves.

2. When we are in the Door, we operate inside of Him, the Christ.

Philippians 2:1
King James Version (KJV)

2 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies...

When we are behind the door we have our own germs, and diseases within the box, our body.  When we are “in” the Door, in Jesus Christ, we are within His Spirit.

Christ comes through us to others. He deals with others' conditions through us, giving consolation to others to alleviate others' miseries.

1. He alleviates my misery.

2. He comforts and deals with my depression.

3. He joins us together with one another.

4. In our bowels and mercies, He pities us when we became poison to ourselves and poison to others.

Join us on Tuesdays at 7 pm and on Wednesdays at 12 noon for explanations of these lessons.
